Sophia Rupprecht is a PhD candidate in the Process Intelligence Research group. She first visited the group for her MSc thesis in 2023 and returned in May 2024 to start her PhD. Her PhD research explores the opportunities and limitations of generative AI to assist chemical engineers in research and industry, including LLM-generated process models and multi-agent systems. During her studies at RWTH Aachen University, she focused on the circular chemical economy and sustainable process design.
