Diversity, Inclusion, and Equity

In academia and especially in STEM, we face severe underrepresentation of women and ethnic minorities. Our lab systematically fosters diversity, inclusion, and equity. We systematically and actively support diversity, inclusion, and equity in our group through the following measures:

• Foster a speak-up culture in our group.
• Create a family-friendly workspace.
• Discuss biases openly.
• Mentor, motivate, and support people of all genders and races to confidently pursue their studies and goals.
• Monitor our progress on this important topic through annual evaluation.

Open science

We aim to make knowledge accessible for everyone. To drive and promote open science, we are a member of the Open Science Community Delft and 4TU Research Data. On our website, we provide free access to our software. Additionally, we aim for open access publications and regularly publish pre-prints online. You can find our publications here.
