PDEng student

Delft University of Technology

My name is Tamoor and I was born in Pakistan. I have a Bsc in Mechanical Engineering from UET Lahore and MSc in Sustainable Energy Technology from University of Twente. I am currently a PDEng Trainee in Process and Equipment design at TU Delft. I joined the group as part of my Individual Design Project in September 2021 with Artur Schweidtmann as my scientific supervisor. My research interests include sustainable process design, reneawable and sustainable energy and electrochemistry. In my most recent study I focus on process design for sustainable and less CO2 intensive fuels. Besides I have experience in process flowsheeting and computational fluid dynamics. My master thesis included numerical modelling of Biomass combustion. I am enthusiastic about solar fuels and electrochemistry and their role in future green energy scenario. Currently I am working on process design for blue H2 production.
